I've finally resorted to posting from Flickr as Blogger won't let me upload any photos - is it just me?
My first stab at an embroidery from the cute Japanese book I impulse bought. I think the fur is meant to have that textured look - uneven length stitches - I'm sure there's a technical term for that.
But the eyes, the slightly satanic eyes, are all my own French Knot work.

Oh I've got that book. But I haven't done anything from it! IF I did that cat, it would end up looking like a Persian cat that had been tumble-dried!

great kitty - those eyes are definitely the kind that follow you around a room! Technical probs seem to be the order of the day - I'm having issues too and I hate to be reminded of how dependant I've become on the computer!Good luck - hope it gets sorted soon.
