Just hanging around

It isn't like me to be quiet for so long. But a combination of half-term, a visit to my folks at the seaside and hubby being away on a 10 day business trip has left me with little blogging time.

The boys and I are just hanging out, dodging the rain and enjoying ourselves in a low key, unblogworthy way. You know how it goes. It's actually a lot of fun.

And given that hubby is in America, with a weekend all to himself, I've armed him with addresses of select fabric shops and lists of desirable prints. I offered to hook him up with a blog-chum shopping partner, but he proved a little too shy for that.

But if you are in a fabric store in the USA this weekend and see a lost looking Brit, give him a kindly smile, you just never know....

Love just hanging about... as much as I love my hubby, when he's not around its very relaxing just eatin' mac n' cheese for lunch with the kids and not having any structure to the day!

What a nice hubby to be fabric shopping for you! Enjoy your days relaxing with the kids!

perhaps you could have given him a special scarf or hat to wear... then told all your US blog friends to keep an eye out! :-) he is a true sweetheart for fabric shopping for you. Lucky you.

It's great messing around sometimes. Doing 'blogworthy' stuff the whole time leaves you living behind a camera, and not being quite as spontaneous...at least that's my excuse for not posting everyday!

Hey, how did you get your husband to buy fabrics for you? Must be a very nice chap!

I've been craving some "normal" days where nothing is planned. Enjoy your time to rest a bit.

Hey! I'm a single mom this weekend, too! Although, for whatever reason, this time I have been much more productive than I usually am when the husband's away. Anyway enjoy the down time!

So... next time maybe you should leave the kiddos with the grands and come with him.

Also - you know I'm happy to send you US Fabric store care packages.
