We're doing a lot of this at the moment.
Carpe Diem (or at least the good weather and some time at home). Johnny's such a star - he's cracking it.
And Ranunculus (ranunculuses? ranunculii?) are some of my favourites.

you ranunculaceae are beautiful. i can't get them to grow in my garden.
(ranunculaceae, yes, i looked it up -- that's how big of a nerd i am.)
that is the coolest potty ever! good luck with that!
I want one of those potty chairs!
what a funky potty! It's great when they suddenly 'get it'
I HATED potty training. All those dives for the pot, too late or just for fun & then when you did get bottom & potty in the right place at the right time, the widger (of the boys) stuck out & sprayed the carpet & you had to stay sooo calm or you would give them 'issues'....
But, then, there was the sitting together & reading books while we waited, and the beautiful bottom to bite afterwards & the pride as both they and I showed an incredulous Father a full potty of wee "and , look, you can just see a little lump of poo, too."
Perhaps it wasn't that bad.
Good luck & thinking of you!
Good on you Johnny - well done! But then who wouldn't want to sit on such a racey potty, vrooomm. Beautiful flowers.
I never thought I would hear myself say this but 'what a cool potty' !
I love ranunculaceae (thanks Capello) too - I had them in my wedding bouquet!
That is seriously the most fun potty I've ever seen. Like riding on a motorcycle. They should make those for grown ups! Well, not really.
Ranunculaeseses'(?!) are the most beautiful flower, like delicate tissue paper.
Congratulations on the potty training! We're doing potty training at the moment too, my husband gets excited phone calls at work from my son saying "Dad - I did a pee!" You have the coolest potty!
The potty chair is great! Can you tell us where to get one?
that car needs to be red with racing car stripes and have bell that you can ring when your done! But I now have visions of Johnny pushing himself around your house whilst on the potty pretending to be Rubens Barachello and spinning out around the bathroom door! Not such a good thing for mummy.
I LOVE that you have a potty called 'Jane'!
Gorgeous flowers, it's funny to see how colourful, new and Spring-like all the gardens on your side of the world are as we head towards Winter. Our gardens are turning gold, red and brown and the kids are crunching the fallen leaves but sadly it still hasn't rained!
that is the coolest potty ever! I am in the process of potty training my little one. SO not fun. I mention "potty" and she runs from me while screaming... "noooo" Maybe if we had something like that, it would work :)
We are on the potty thing too. We are stuck at home in quarantine because the elder one is covered in chicken pox so it seemed as good a time as any. It is day 2 and I'm losing the will to live!
Yay Johnny! way to go but then he does have a fantastic throne to sit upon. May be we'd have had more enthusiasim for potty training here if his pot had been as snazzy Johnny's.
I love that shade of orange - bright and sunny and beautiful. The ones I bought from the shop recently went all floppy and mouldy - what a swizz.
Wow! It's so funny to stop by your blog and see a photo of a potty chair. I am in the middle of the same endeavor with my Johnnie. We have not left the house since last Saturday. He's got the pee down cold but the poo, I'm sorry to say is not going as well. I am just about ready to pull my hair out but trying to keep a positive attitude! Good luck and I love the rananculus.
"Ranunculus (ranunculuses? ranunculii?)"
I love these flowers too! The colours they come in and the way their big heads flop forward and out of the posy jar. Wonderful creatures.
Happy Friday Ali

oh the joys of potty training. Am still not sure our floors have recovered from the FB's early attempts. Now we need to start on the night training and I have no idea how to go about that (and get a good night's sleep at the same time)
Too bad we've already done blue and orange weeks -- you've got great ones there...
Ahh potty training. I cannot believe that Bea is so resistant. Oh, I could go on and on, but won't here -- but I am beginning to wonder if it may never happen!
Oh I am so glad those potty days are over for me!
It is so exciting to see all these lovely flowers beginning to bloom, I just can't believe this weather and I do hope there will be something left to flower in my garden by the time summer arrives.
So, your little one rides this potty in Crocs?! Hee hee.
my favorite flower, hands down!
