The final stocking in the trilogy is done - thanks for the blue motif suggestions. I worked on a dove for quite a while, but it just looked odd, so a snowflake it is.
Can you spot the not-so-deliberate mistake? But I rather like it that way, so it's staying. Now I really have to get to work with the stocking stuffing part. What are you hoping for in yours?

Perfect. Love the linen. I see no mistakes.
i love the snowflake! i don't see a mistake either. i am hoping for a bundle of newly sharpened pencils in my stocking...is that dorky? and, happy belated birthday ali! i also finally got a link up to your blog.
Nice snowflake - the colours look great - I am hoping for a finally finished kitchen and dining area - painted, floored etc. Not sure if that is asking a bit much though - oh and some perfect sleep!
you're insane. there is *no* mistake.
Hmmm...the raw edges are exposed...was that intentional? Because it really fits with the fabric and look of the whole stocking.
I'm much better with symmetrical shapes, so I would have gone with the snowflake as well.
where's the mistake? let us know!? In my stocking I WANT FREDDIE FLINTOFF. Back with a bump to reality and I would like some vintage ribbon. Simple.
Yup lindiepindie, you got it - I forgot to put the right sides together, but then I do quite like the raw linen edges and it's not like a stocking gets washed and worn the whole time is it?
Great snowflake and I like the raw edges of the linen. I'm hoping for The Crafter's Companion in my stocking and a large dollop of peace & goodwill for all!
Haven't visited in a while Ali. You have been busy, I love your stockings, raw edges and all ;-)
I made some tweedy robins the other day (check out my blog) . I think they are this year's thing!
The snowflake is my favourite one! So Sweet. I think I would like to find a holiday in my stocking!
I love all three of your stockings, Ali. Your friends are lucky to have you!
