Mid January in a year of photographs

 The main struggle with my daily photographs over the past week or so has been the relentless miserable weather. So plenty of images from indoors, trying to hunt down some colour. Because there's only so much rain sodden brown and grey I can stomach.

Now,  did you want to know the answer to the riddle of the washing lines? On Saturday I went to Bath to a Janet Bolton workshop. We were asked to think about some personal inspiration for a textile picture and all that billowing laundry was mine.

I would show you my finished piece, but it isn't finished. And it's too grey for a work-in-progress shot even. And I'm not  sure I like it very much. But the workshop was wonderful. And my picture may grow on me.
