H is for... Hair

Here's where I admit my huge envy of people with perfect hair that suits their character and always manages to look stylish. I'm not sure that I have ever achieved it though, despite mine being long enough to sit on, shaved off, and many things in between over the years.

But now, thanks to a find via Photojojo I have a chance to find the ultimate 'do'. And yes, this really is a photo of me, but the 'before' is not my real hair. Not too far off mind!

Whaddaya think? Too much? I've always fancied being a redhead...

Go on, do yours, you know you want to.

H is for hilarious--which is what you are! If I could only find a haircut that is low maintenance and fabulous, it would be a dream come true.

I dunno. The red is awesome, but I kind of like the birdnest look myself.

I think red hair with curls would be good, you know how Nicole Kidman used to have hers.

I've taken to making loads of headscarfes for my hair this summer. No time to do hair in school hols, but at least I can make head scarfes using beautiful fabric !

How fun is that program?

H... I just finished F. I think you could pull it off! No one's hair is perfect to them. People are always complimenting me on my thick, straight hair. Not unusual for an asian woman. But I have always wanted wavy curls. Some sort of body to it. I got a perm once...once. The grass is always greener...

Well...it's different, I will grant you that! I can see major entertainment ahead (oh dear, what a terrible pun) using that little hair/photo makeover tool.

Hmmm, I think I prefer the before!
I also think that people with perfect hair have to spend an awful lot of time on it to get it to look effortlessly beautiful. Time that could be spent on far more exciting things like crafting, blogging, fabric shopping....

Hair! hair! hair! He! he he Ho Ho Ho!

I was just having a convo about hair with a friend yesterday. We were bemoaning how blokes can spend less than half the time and money on their hair and get away with it. Us ladies can't do that...well we can, if we like birds nests. It just so happens that I think bird nest are super stylish; it's taken years to prefect mine.

Yes, perfect hair looks good, but if you don't have it, it's possible to improve it and it will seem not maybe perfect, but very good. You can care about hair and you will see results.

Or at least you can do a lot of pictures with perfect hairs.
