Not sure I feel quite ready yet for the arrival of Autumn/Winter catalogues through my door, but they're coming. Here are a few of my favourite bits from the Laura Ashley Home Autumn/Winter 2007.
Like these spotty chairs?
Perhaps with a doggy pillow. I'm always curious about handmade-looking mass produced items. They get me thinking chicken or egg type thoughts.
And then these amazing blinds - oh for the windows to carry them off.
In fact, I'm pretty keen on the whole charcoal/linen palette.
Perhaps we should just gloss over the summer (or lack of) and start looking forward to Autumn instead.

No, no, summer's here now! At least that's what they said on Gardener's Question Time, and let's hope they're right.
I don't get the Laura Ashley catalogue. Maybe I should ... I'm still waiting for Blooming Marvellous to figure out my children are too big for their stuff now; and while I might be more comfortable in some of their stretchy trousers, I haven't got a valid reason to buy them anymore ;-)
No, you know what will happen. Come 1st September we'll be shaking out the chenille throws and looking forward to the golden crispness of autumn mornings.... and miss them completely in a long, hot Indian summer that lasts til Christmas.
Ugh, funny you should say that. It's supposed to top 100 today, and it's humid, too. I'm off to the pool with some sticky, grumpy children...
LOVE those chairs at the top!
Love the chairs! Gorgeousness :D And the beautiful fabrics at the bottom. Very nice.
I'm looking forward to my catalogue now. It all looks lovely, it's exciting to plan for winter, and Christmas, even in July and August! although it might brighten up soon...
I love those dotty chairs

Oooh love dots and love the shape of those chairs.
Absolutely not! The sun has only just come out!
Loving that fabric though!
We've had plenty of summer here in the states but my mind always jumps ahead to fall at this time of year. I wish I could get my hands on one of those catalogs but they won't send them here. I adore those pillows. I will save that picture for inspiration!
I love the gray palette. Gray is quickly becoming my favorite decorating neutral. Patricia
